Academics
The school has three categories in the educational programme. These are in the areas of Early school, Primary School and the Junior High School. At Agyiba, teaching learning activities have been structured to include a large amount of purposeful activities where our learners carry out many of the activities involved in the teaching learning process.

Early School programmes starts as early as 6 months to about 5 years when the child graduates to primary one. The mode of instruction is basically the montessorian style of teaching where attendants, care-givers and teachers make a keen observation of children to identify areas of interest. Audio-Visual aids are used most often to teach rhymes and to reinforce stories heard. Educational trips are organised ocassionally for children in related areas such as the supermarkets,post office etc. Pupils are exposed to highly illustrated pictorial text books for the appreciation of pictures, colors and Shapes.

Primary School

At the Primary Level which comprises the lower primary and Upper Primary, Children are exposed to a variety of teaching learning activities. The activity centered method of teaching is stressed at this level of formal school teaching. These are carefully selected and are appropriate to the age and developmental level of the pupils. At Agyiba, structures and processes satisy pupils needs and as a result pupils persist with academic task and work in co-operation with their teachers and other pupils. Twice in a term, pupils write ginger examination which are organised under strict conditions to prepare them for their final examination and to make them sit up and work at all times. They are also introduced to French, ICT studies, health & Safety and Phonic driill.

Junior High School:Teaching Procedures are organised with pupils as the focal point of references sStudents having a feel of the computer systemince the major concern of the school is the individual child. Teachers carefully grade work and encourage each child to work at his/her own pace. There is a system of strict monitoring of classroom activities by the head and a circuit supervisor. Pupils are given extra tuition in hardware practicals in ICT. They are also given the opportunity to have access to information from the e-learning center at the school. During club meetings, children are exposed to a variety of extra curricular activities such as field trips, symposium, inter-class spelling bee competitions, seminars by resource persons. There is a structured and strictly monitored home-work time table to ensure that pupils always have something doing at home from school.
